Caring for your WUKRA piece

All WUKRA pieces are made from 100% sheep’s wool and share the same care routine.

Everyday care

Vacuum your piece and air it outdoors or in the sun to freshen it up.

Washing small pieces

Small pieces can be machine washed on the wool programme, provided they fit comfortably in the drum. Use a detergent suitable for wool and follow its instructions.

Cleaning large pieces

For large pieces, we recommend taking them to a professional cleaner. Let the cleaner know that your piece is handwoven from 100% sheep’s wool.

Drying and brushing

After washing, dry your piece in the sun, then brush it.
